코앞으로 다가왔다

around the corner는 '코너를 돌면'이라는 뜻이다.

원래 길을 설명할 때 쓰는 말로, 저 건물을 따라 꺾으면,

즉, 조금만 더 앞으로 가면 무언가가 있다는 뜻이다.

  그 서점은 건물을 따라 돌면 바로 나와요.

길을 설명할 때 외에도 시간상으로 어떠한 시점이 곧 다가올 때 just around the corner라고 표현할 수 있다.
