The Fly and the Bull
파리와 황소

A fly flew across a meadow and settled on the tip of a buul's horn.
After resting ofr a short time, he was ready to fly away.
But before he left, he apologized to the bull for using his horn as a place to rest.
"You must be glad I'm leaving," he said.
"It doesn't matter to me," replied the bull.
"I didn't even know you were there."
We are often of greater importance in our own eyes than in the eyes of our neighbor.
한 파리가 초원을 가로질러 난 후 황소 뿔 끝에 앉았습니다.
잠시 쉰 후 파리는 다시 날 준비가 되었습니다.
하지만 떠나기 전에 뿔 위에서 휴식을 취한 것을 황소에게 사과했습니다.
"제가 이제 떠나니 기쁘시겠어요."
황소가 대답했습니다.
"상관없어요. 사실 당신이 제 뿔 위에 있는지도 몰랐는걸요?"
주변 사람들이 나를 보는 것보다 내가 나를 더 소중하게 보는 경우가 많습니다.

   주변 사람들이 나를 보는 것보다 내가 나를 더 중요하게 보는 경우가 많습니다.
   • in one's eyes는 '~의 눈에'를 의미
   • 실제 눈을 의미하기도 하지만 추상적으로 '관점'을 뜻하기도 함
   • in my eyes == in my opinion '내가 보기에는', '내 의견으로는'
